Avocado Oil for Dry Skin

Avocado Oil for Dry Skin

Some years back when I was on vacation in the Caribbean, I came across  Ligne Saint Barth products, founded by Hervé Brin, who uses the knowledge of his Breton and West Indian ancestors. The company uses all natural ingredients with Caribbean floral overtones to create harmony and a sense of well-being. All products are created on the island of Saint Barthélemy (French Caribbean) and employ staff from the Caribbean.

Usually, I prefer using body lotion or cream to moisturize but I was introduced to an oil from Ligne St Barth by a beauty therapist. Initially, I tried it because I was asked to do so – although I was skeptical. I think it was the first time that I used an oil to moisturise. I was so impressed with the results, plus the lovely fragrance of the different products that I ended up buying more than I intended to. The avocado oil has a delicate scent of Tiare flowers. During the winter, when my skin is at its driest – because of indoor heating and cold weather I tend to rely on the avocado oil for nourishing the skin. You can add it to your bath water – and it also helps to prevent stretch marks. It’s best to apply the oil when the skin is still damp.

What I love about the Ligne Saint Barth avocado oil, is it doesn’t just stay on the skin with a greasy effect. It spreads easily leaving the skin beautifully soft. The results are instant and with continuous use, my skin has improved significantly.

This avocado oil is not just an excellent moisturiser but can be used on hair before or after shampooing for radiance and softness.

I’m a big fan of anything avocado babe!! I’ve tried tons of oils like coconut and canola, but haven’t tried avocado oil just yet! But it’s definitely next on my list 🙂
