Versatility Of The Kimono

Versatility Of The Kimono

Kimonos are stylish, easy to wear and perfect for the transitional period depending on which material you choose – from lightweight, transparent to something a bit heavier and warmer…there is one for everyone and every occasion. What I love most is the versatility of the kimono. You can choose from a basic to a more elaborate one depending on your preference.

This is a perfect cover-up to keep off the chill or for those of you conscious about your upper arms.

Wear it with practically everything…from skinny jeans and t-shirts, shorts, day and evening dresses to swimwear. It can even be worn as a dress. For those of you who love bohemian styles, you probably own a few kimonos already. I’ve paired mine with wide leg trousers and a simple camisole.

I’ve chosen a few of my favourite styles below!

Zara: kimono here // H&M: camisole top here // trousers old (similar here) // Prada: shoes old Chanel vintage bag // Sunnies old

When I see a kimono, I always envision myself in an Old Hollywood movie and I’m purring seductively, ‘Come into my boudoirrrrr…’ Haha! Love yours and you can pair it with lots of pieces: shorts, swimwear, trousers. It’s the piece that keeps on giving! X

Goodness, Yvonne, you look AH-MAZING. The pairing of that dark kimono with white is exquisite, and then you throw in that pop of red from its lining, and BHAM. That’s a style moment right there xoxo
