These photos were taken in the Italian part of Switzerland, known as Ticino in a small village by the name Avegno. Italian is spoken with German been the second language. Here you can find another post on Ticino. It’s very picturesque with stone houses and cobbled alleys, so don’t wear heels as I’m in these photos. The small chapels and church are very impressive and the small museum giving an insight about the history of farming, is not to be missed. The Maggia river runs along-side the village.
The temperature was quite hot and although the jacket was not needed, on this particular day or any time during my vacation…I really wanted to show it to you guys.
It’s well made, inexpensive at $49.99 and just right for the ending of summer going into autumn. It comes with a tie belt but you could change it up by adding a leather belt in another colour for example or keep the same colour scheme going.
Wear this outfit to the office…just add a white or black t-shirt and different shoes.
The Maggia river has not enough water at the moment because of insufficient rain. There are enormous rocks… some smoothed by the force of flowing water – which I find magnificent. It is popular with locals and visitors and attracts sun-worshippers and swimmers alike. The Maggia, is the perfect place to cool off in the natural pools with refreshing cool water.
