In today’s post, I’m showing three different ways of how I styled my pleated skirt. Although skirts are closet staples I have to admit that I don’t own many and don’t wear them often either. I wear more dresses.
Skirts are versatile and can easily be worn with sandals, heels and boots. A pleated skirt with sneakers and a t-shirt can look really cool. The skirt is an indispensable item which you should have in your closet, as it gives you the option of creating many outfits. Besides that, there are so many fun styles to choose from.
I love how this pleated skirt falls over the body – and although there is a lot of material – it isn’t too bulky, so it doesn’t make the hips appear wider. That’s if you are worried about that area of your body.
Reiss pleated skirt sold out. Similar here and here // Bodysuit Zara, similar here and here // Sandals not available but I like this one here. Victoria Beckham sunglasses which I wear often. Bag Chanel. A more affordable version here.
Here I’ve paired the skirt with a top which I got in sales. You would have seen it in another post if you follow my blog or on Instagram. I wore a t-shirt under because it was a bit chilly on the day.
I can’t believe that it is almost September and autumn is fast approaching. Maybe a little too fast – although I have to admit that I’m looking forward. Soon we will be wearing pullovers so for the transitional, period I paired my pleated skirt with a black pullover which I had in my closet a while now. I’m waiting for cooler weather for this though! I like this pullover here, here and here. // Chanel vintage bag.
