I first saw Remescar eye bags and dark circle cream in a chemist – and thought, interesting – why not give it a try! A cream that promises to erase the appearance of eye bags and circles by 75% instantly. Exactly what I need, so I parted with my cash and off I went. I was very sceptical about the claim, but I wanted to get rid of my under eye bags.
After a few trials, I gave up as it left a white residue under my eye and I wasn’t really that impressed – so I put it aside.
The older I get, the more prominent are my under-eye bags. I have thought often about under-eye surgery to remove them, but I’m too much of a coward. In desperation, I decided to try RemeScar once more – so I went to the website and watched the tutorial of how to apply the product correctly. I suggest you do this if you decided to try it.
First I applied a little eye cream before applying RemiScar and remained still – not making any kind of movement around the eye area. After a few minutes, my eye bags were significantly reduced. I applied my makeup as usual.
I realised that I have been hanging onto lots of make that I think, must be outdated by now. Anyway, I decided to get rid of a few of them that I rarely use! What’s the point of keeping something if I’m not using it. It just takes up space and worst still – probably out-of-date.
I’m a fan of Fenty Beauty and have used the soft matte foundation on and off, but I can’t say it’s my favourite as it’s very drying on my skin. What I do love though, is the colour range and that I found a shade which matches my skin tone. I didn’t even realise that Fenty Beauty also brought out a Pro Filt’r hydrating foundation until I read a review on nayatilly.com blog! You guys need to check out her blog as she does great beauty reviews.
Pro Filt’r hydrating foundation is much better for my skin, as my skin is more on the drier side depending on the season. I used a damp sponge to blend and got a nice natural finish with two pumps of the product. I don’t really like full coverage, so the sponge worked best for me.
Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r concealer is very pigmented and a lot goes a long way. It’s best to start with a little of the product and add more if necessary.
I moisturised my skin well before applying the concealer. Using a damp sponge gave me a good result, although I had to work a little at blending. It didn’t settle in my creases and my skin felt comfortable.
